Migrants Udine, 2015

This is a short reportage on the migrants who arrived in my city, Udine, via the “Balkan route.” Many of them are from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Since they were rejected by Germany or are heading to northern Europe, they stay around the city during the day and sleep in a tunnel at the railway station at night. Some NGOs provide them with blankets, hot drinks, clothing, and information for their journey.
